MyPartner Career Network (MPCN) makes it easier for local businesses to recruit and retain great employees by helping find employment when needed, for spouses or partners of prospective high-value employees to help their families better integrate into our community.

MyPartner Career Network is a joint program of High Country Human Resources Association and Vail Valley Economic Development offered a no cost to all Vail Valley-based businesses.  MPCN’s goal is to reduce the time, cost and risks of hiring for Vail Valley companies looking to hire for specialized positions that may be difficult to fill locally.

How to Participate

Local Companies:

  • Local businesses must opt-in to participate.  Contact Erik Williams to sign up.
  • Promote the availability of MyPartner Career Network to prospective new-hires during the recruitment process.
  • Participating businesses agree to provide a “priority review” of all resumes received through the Network and are encouraged to provide an informational interview for relevant candidates, and/or a referral to another contact in the community to help the candidate build their local network.

Newly-Hired Employees:

Engage the program by completing the form and submitting the requested information below.

  • Spouses or Partners of those who have submitted qualifying resumes will be offered an Intake Interview so we learn more about their employment interests.
  • Vail Valley Partnership will then deliver resumes to all relevant local businesses who have opted to participate in MyPartner Career Network.
