Colorado and the U.S. had record increases in employment for 2022; however, the battle to contain inflation will take its toll in 2023. The country is projected to experience a recession in 2023, with real GDP growth of 0.0% and the addition of 660,000 jobs for the year, or an average of about 55,000 jobs per month. Colorado will only add 24,000 jobs this year.
