Colorado economic update
Colorado added 17,000 jobs in April, and the spread of COVID-19 is declining. Slowly, but surely the state is re-opening and recovering from the policies of the COVID-19 recession. The recovery is uneven, but most indicators point to strong economic activity and employment growth through the end of the year.
The number of passengers at DIA is gradually increasing, and the leisure and hospitality industry is adding jobs. The state will add 84,000 employees in 2021. It will return to pre-pandemic employment levels in 2022 or 2023. For more details, click here or go to https://cber.co/economic-updates/.
