June 2017 Economic and Fiscal Review
The Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budgeting just released its June 2017 Economic and Fiscal Review, stating that growth has accelerated in the first half of 2017 for the state. Technology-related sectors remain strong and have fueled much of the state’s growth; however, the tight labor market and housing market continues to constrain economic expansion.

9 Colorado Companies Chosen as 2017 Best Workplaces
Inc. Magazine just published its annual “Best Places to Work” list, where they interviewed thousands of employees about where they worked. For 2017, nine Colorado companies made it on to the list. Included in the top 50 are financial services (Agency of Credit Control), advertising and marketing (Diablo Media, GroundFloor Media), and software (Mobile Solutions) companies.

Index of State Dynamism Ranks Colorado 4th Most Dynamic State
According to the Economic Innovation Group, there is a growing concern that the U.S. is becoming less dynamic (measured by factors such as the pace at which businesses open and close and the frequency with which workers change jobs or move to different states). The report, however, finds that there are differences across regions and the West is the most dynamic region. With its ability to attract in-migrants and relatively strong workforce participation rate, Colorado is ranked as the 4th most dynamic state.
