Eagle County Real Estate Market Continues Positive Trend

Land Title’s November 2015 Market Analysis shows continued positive momentum in the local real estate market.  Through November 2015, Eagle County real estate continued to exceed numbers seen in 2014.

Real estate dollar volume for November 2015 was $137,128,799 across 166 transactions.  Comparing November 2015 with November 2014; year-over-year dollar volume was up 7% and the number of transactions were nearly identical to the 167 transactions recorded in November 2014.

While November’s numbers show a 22.9% decrease in dollar volume and a 17% decrease in the number of transactions from the previous month, they show the second highest dollar volume ever recorded for the month of November, missing November 2013’s dollar volume record of 138.6M by less than $1.5 million.

The Town of Eagle had the most active market in Eagle County in November with 31 transactions, followed by Gypsum with 16, Avon with 14, and East Vail with 13.

The average residential transaction price for November 2015 (not including bank sales) was $929,215 and the median was $550,350.
