Colorado Business Economic Outlook 2016

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder released the 51st annual Colorado Business Economic Outlook on Dec. 7th.
The Outlook is the longest-running sector-level forecast of the Colorado Economy. The Outlook forecasts continuing, but slowing, growth with a gain of 65,100 jobs, and increase of 2.6%. The overall population is projected to increase to over 5.54 million with 62,100 more people coming into the state than leaving in 2016. The unemployment rate, which averaged 4.2% this year is expected to drop to 3.8%.
