Colorado economic update

The most recent release of data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that Colorado is on track to add 68,700 jobs in 2018. The leading sectors for job growth are accommodations and food services; construction; and professional, scientific, and technical services.

Also included this month is a special look at the jobs being added in small, but critical sectors such as air and truck transportation; telecommunications; credit intermediaries; insurance; and architecture and engineering.

Finally, don’t forget to take a look at the quarterly economic updates published by the Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budgeting and the Colorado Legislative Council.
