Colorado Outdoor Leadership Summit coming May 11

What is COILSx?

The Colorado Outdoor Industry Leadership Summit is hosting the regional mountain gathering on Friday, May 11 in Breckenridge, Colorado. COILSx is organized and presented by the Mountain Outdoor Recreation Alliance, a group of passionate outdoor recreation leaders in the Colorado Rockies.

Who should come?

If you’re a leader in the outdoor industry or a nonprofit, startup, business or organization focused on public lands, outdoor recreation, rec tech / innovation, this is your crew and this is your gathering. Join us. We’re focusing on the central mountain region in Colorado, including Aspen, Steamboat, Vail, Winter Park, Leadville and Summit County (Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne).

So, what exactly is COILSx?

This is the second COILSx meeting for the mountain region.

This is a “boots on the ground” kind of gathering (or boots in the snow). Here’s what to expect:

* Networking

* Skiing and snowboarding

* Inspiring talks and panels

* Work sessions on key topics

* Problem solving & putting ideas into action

We’ll start COILSx with a special invitation to join the CPW (Colorado Parks & Wildlife) Partners in the Outdoors conference.  Then, we’ll kick off COILSx with Congressman Jared Polis and Luis Benitez, director of Colorado’s Outdoor Recreation Industry Office. Other speakers and facilitators include: Aspen Skiing Company, Latino Outdoors, Town of Breckenridge, Routt County Economic Development, Western Resource Advocates and more.
